The 240V AC 15 AMP LED Wireless Relay Module is hard wired to the mains power and uses wireless RF for the control communication. To comply with Australian / NZ wiring rules a relay module should always be used when controlling circuits that require the control device to be installed in the roof space. Smart plugs should not be installed in the roof void. This module is only suitable for locating indoors, however, it can control devices which have a suitable rating that are located outdoors or in wet areas.
